This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders from SciTech.lk across Sri Lanka.

1) Delivery Methods We Offer

You can choose one of the following at checkout (availability depends on location):

1. Sri Lanka Post
2. Cash on Delivery (COD)
3. Express Delivery
4. Same Day Delivery (PickMe Flash) – for nearby Nugegoda orders (when available)
5. Local Pickup (Nugegoda)

2) Delivery Time Estimates

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to holidays, weather, or delivery network delays.

• Sri Lanka Post: 3–5 days
• COD & Express: 2–3 days
• PickMe Flash (Same Day): Same day (nearby Nugegoda areas only)

3) Local Pickup (Nugegoda)

Choose Local Pickup at checkout and collect from our store:

🕙 10.00 AM – 6.00 PM
📅 Monday to Saturday
📍 Nugegoda (store address shown in checkout/confirmation)

Please bring your order number or confirmation message.

4) Processing & Dispatch

After you place an order:

• PayHere (Online payment): We process after successful payment confirmation
• Bank Transfer: We process after payment is verified (slip/reference required)
• COD: We process after COD confirmation where applicable
• Pay at Shop: Order is prepared for pickup

We pack books carefully and dispatch using the selected method.

5) COD Confirmation & Controls

To reduce doorstep rejections and avoid unnecessary shipping losses:

• We may confirm COD orders via phone/WhatsApp before dispatch
• In some cases (new customers, high-value orders, or delivery risk areas), we may request:
o a delivery deposit, or
o prepayment via PayHere / bank transfer

If confirmation/deposit is not received on time, we may cancel the order to avoid shipping issues.

6) Delivery Attempts & Unreachable Customers

Please ensure:

• Your phone number is correct and reachable
• Your address includes house number, road, area, and a landmark (if possible)

If a courier/post rider cannot reach you or the address is incorrect, delivery may be delayed or returned.

7) Refused / Rejected COD Parcels

If a customer rejects a COD parcel at the doorstep without a valid reason:

• We may restrict COD for that phone number/address in future
• Future orders may require prepayment or a COD deposit

This helps us keep delivery charges fair for genuine students and customers.

8) Shipping Charges

Shipping charges (if applicable) are shown clearly at checkout before you place the order.

9) Damaged or Wrong Items

If you receive a wrong or damaged book, contact us within the time period stated in our Refund & Return Policy with:

• Order number
• Photos of the item(s) and label/invoice
